Parking Lot
The project is sited in Miami, Florida, within an infrastructural landscape of freeways and surface parking. A parking deck occupies the top level of the building. Below the roof, the program includes a basketball stadium, a fitness center with a pool and racquetball courts, a grocery store, restaurants, and retail spaces. Circulation is defined by long, continuous ramps that weave through the building. Primary entrances are located at the rooftop parking deck and along the north and south edges. Thin, linear skylights introduce daylight into the interior. A column grid supports a truss that spans the underside of the roof. Strong Post W-Beam guardrails line the roof edge for vehicular safety.
